At Ripley Dental Care, we understand your concerns regarding the use of metal fillings. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to offer our patients the option of using advanced, new fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metal.
At Ripley Dental Care, we work very hard to provide you, our valued patient, with the best care and treatment that dentistry has to offer. We utilize state-of-the-art procedures, instruments and techniques.
Ripley Dental Care offers in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images that require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film, which must be developed & then fixed in caustic & environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor & instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the monitor in the treatment room so we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately.
Next Generation Veneers - Lumineers
Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns and can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. We feature LUMINEERS, which can be placed over existing teeth without the removal of any form of tooth structure. Therefore, anesthesia and temporaries are not required. The no-prep technique is perfect for stained, chipped, misaligned or spaced teeth. Bonding porcelain to enamel creates a solid, secure bond.

If you've lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the solution. Whether partial or full dentures, they're essential not only to your aesthetics, but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you never lost your teeth, dentures protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur and give you a more aged appearance, as well as promote your natural speech. Denture maintenance, combined with a regular regiment of proper brushing, can guarantee you a comfortable, healthy mouth for the rest of your life. Please call us today to discuss the numerous available options in more detail.
Dental & Restorative Implants
Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace, partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone and a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighbouring teeth (like a bridge). Treatment can be finished in 3 to 5 visits over the space of about 4 to 12 months.
Having straight teeth is important for both your health and appearance. We perform a thorough assessment of your teeth with an emphasis on early treatment. We place a high priority on finding the best way to correct teeth that are misaligned as well as jaw position problems. We will implement a program with the appropriate appliance to help normalize the growth of jaws and they reduce the need for extractions of teeth. The earlier we begin treatment, the better chance we have for success.
